Hello,
I am a new online player, have not much experience with network/firewall.
Got a DSL two weeks ago.

I recently bought IL2 1946, patched to 4.08m, installed Hyperlobby.
I intended to do some coop flight with my nephew. A "normal" coop mission or dogfight that is hosted by sombody else does immediately join without any Problem.

When one of us wants to start a mission with 2 Person against KI in order to gain more flying pratice (we don't live long in a online scenario, yet), the game starts on both sides, but usually I am getting a connection time out. We only had two times, when the connection worked dunno why.
One time it was under coop, the second as dogfight. We also tried both as host.

I guess it may be some setting with his/my firewall. I have WLAN Modem with internal firewall, no Windows firewall running.
The connection color for my nephew in hyperlobby shows red with a ping of 0 ms...mine on his side either.
I also have no idea how to configure the firewall. just managed to find the menu where to configure

Any help would be appreciated... read the FAQ and used search but did not find a similar problem.

Regards, Stoppelhopser...
