password probs

Please help-- ii has been a few months since i had been here, but the system remembred my e-mail and nickname --i went thru the steps of confirming my password and succsessfully loged in ---NOW MY PROB- I cant get in hyperlobby's game room with new password, -how do i set it up in there? Or someone help please.. purdy please Crying or Very sad

Will someone answer this question. I did the same thing as slypnot. Haven't been able to connect.

Not to mention the problem with hyperlobby unable to find path to lock on. I paste this into the path,
G:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On
...and hyperlobby doesn't use it, just gives me an error that it could not be found.

Anyone, anyone...

It finding the executable, not path Wink

so it will look:

G:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.exe

Thank you for your reply JG27*Hyper.
I went to my shortcut icon and pasted the file path which DID have the .exe at the end. It still could not find it. Sad

I also read in the forums that this newer version of hyperlobby has caused the problem of not seeing the uname or password. The new version also better supports LockOn which is the reason why I downloaded it. Also strange is HyperLobby worked once, the day a downloaded it, and never again Confused

Any other suggestions?

Maybe you pasted in the "quotation" marks aswell that are in the shortcuts pathway?

With the new versions not seeing passwords or *usernames I don't know about. I just install a new version straight over the top of the old and my PW and UN are remembered ready to log in. I think some people must be installing it a different way and then forgetting their passwords so they have to wait until their accounts become inactive and are deleted from the HL server database.

I've installed the new version after uninstalling the old. I still get the wrong uname/password error. In the FAQ the solution for this problem is that the registered name is already being used. Confused

Now, is the registered name and password here not the same one we'd use in the HL window? I figured if we registered here at the site that we use the same info at the lobby. Right Question

Hello Flipper, The registration here at the HyperFighter website is not the same as registration with the Hyperlobby client.
You have to register in the chat with the client, you can read how in the manual found at this site. One day the two might be intergrated but for now they are two seperate databases.
Your "username here as flipper might be taken already on the Hyperlobby so try ~Flipper~ or *flipper* maybe.
Ps: you dont need to uninstall the HL client just install the new straight over the old. Smile
