When I am hosting a game in H.L Sturmvovik my firewall tells me that a program has tried to acess internet to adress; master. gamespy.com and ip-address 216.144.239.34.
Is this something that I have agreed to when I installed H.L or is it someone else that have planted into my computer. I have a viruscan and firewall but sometimes disabled to achieve better perfomance when I fly. |

Hi, It`s not a virus. It`s like a game search engine built into the game. |

Possible this "Gamespy" thing is bundled with game software? Below are links to programs with good reputation to remove "SPYWARE" or "AD-WARE" that is commonly bundled and installed with commercial software or freeware. I use both.
http://www.lavasoft.de/ Ad-Aware
http://security.kolla.de/ Spybot - Search and Destroy. |
