Great job with HL. First as a player and now as a host enjoy your program.

Now that i'm hosting some games, found that have little problems to host...

I mean...

I have an ADSL 256/128. Well, with this conn, I can host up to 12 players, but no more, the lag will be greater with more players.

Now with actual slots, I have to kick people, or say a lot of times in the chat window that the game will be only 6vs6. You know people usually don't read info tab.

May be it's possible (i search the forum and don't find nothing about ) that a host, at the same time that selects the number of players in the tab info,that this number will be used to configure the max. number of the slots available for the game.

I mean, me as host, makes a choice in the info tab to host 10 players. Then the HL configures the 8vs8 slot making only available 10 slots and the other 6 slots unavailable.

Without change the actual structure of the slots and rooms. Only making available or not the slots.

I don't know if it's possible, i'm haven't any idea of programming but i know lot of people in my country that have the same connection (adsl 256) and for whom any solution of this kind will be very apreciated...

HL 4.x should have it. But iam nut sure that i begin work at 4.x version because there is so much improvements on the way, that cant fit my time.

No problem with that, we can live without this but not without fly Wink

An idea i have at last, is try to get excedent slots ocuppied by virtual pilots...
