I got a PHPBB forum (same as this one) and would like to list members who are online at Hyperlobby in the forum.
I imagine this could be done in two ways.
Either the users can configure the client to send a value to a webscript when he/she logs in or logs out.
The script could write the users online status in a database.
Or a webscript could poll the hyperlobby server for specified names each time the webpage with the script is loaded
Dunno if this feature is doable today. If so the please tell me how to achieve it.
I'd love this function as forums are the kinda gathering point and if u could list which of your users are online at Hyperlobby it would be easy to add a link to launch the hyperlobby client from the forum.
EDIT: I read a post talking about a PHP script which could list amount of players in one gameroom.
The info were fetched from a txt-file at the hyperlobby server.
Couldn't the server write the unames of all in a gameroom to a txt-file once every 15 minutes or so???
Thanks for a great service.

Maybe possible if client sends value for clients HL status to squad website, or if squad webscript polls individual HL clients? Bandwith of client and squad only would be affected, and then only by a few transactions.
