Greetings all.
Our dedicated server is unable to set the proper host preferences for the game, when I select custom settings and then adjust the check boxes for the type of game and then click save, the game defaults to one of the three standard settings - there is just no way to actually hold the custom settings.
I have reloaded hyperlobby v 3.8.95 and I have reinstalled VB 5.0 SP3. No joy.
Without having proper prefrences shown on hyperlobby, we are constantly getting joiners and droppers - because the game isnt what it is advertised to be...
Thanks to anyone who can give suggestions...

When you are running a dedicated server the HypeLobby list of settings is for informational purposes only. They do not set the difficulty in the server like they do in a normal hosted game. The difficulty is set in your server.cmd file.
Then you match the info in HL to match what you have set in the server.cmd file.In order for HL to keep the settings you have chosen to list you add a "users" folder to the main dedicated server folder.
I just copied the one from my game folder to the dedicated folder on the dedicated machine. |

Finch, you need to copy the folder 'users' from your normal install of FB into your dedicated server folder. The users folder is not included in the default install of the dedicated server, but it contains the necessary file to save your hyperlobby preferences. |
