Problem: I have a server running on HL. The
server PC and my game PC are both running
behind the same DSL router. When I try to
host a room from my game rig through an Open
Mission slot in HL, those that join are directed to
the server room. I assume I have made wrong settings
but I have very very little understanding of the settings
so I don't know where my mistake is. Pls help, ty.

You need more than one IP number.
When I was running IL-2 servers I had 4 IP numbers.
I still have 4 numbers but I stopped serving games
because little children and whine bags did
not appreaciate it.

Notably RS_Blooddrive and his many aliases.

Good luck.

Thank you Sir.
I do have four IP numbers, it appears I wasn't clear in the information provided. My server PC IP # is 192.168.1.70 and my game PC IP # is 192.168.1.65. If I understand you correctly the Game PC hlpr.ini should show it's own IP # like this >>>>>>

[Forgotten Battles]
joinDelay=20
clientRate=8000
;Determine the client source port. Useful

router.
;Must be diferent for each user behind the

Doddlebug, I tried changing the IP # in my game rig hlpr.ini to the IP # assigned to that computer and I still have the same problem plus I can't join my server through HL. ???? Anything else that might be the problem?
