IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.exe file not found

i have the same problem as some of these guys, i go onto hyperlobby and when it asks for the file path i enter "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe" because thats what the path is. but it doesnt accept it, it says, "HyperLobby can't found game installation!!!, you will not be able to acces mission slots and run the game!!!", why won't it play?

how do I reset my password. Problem is that when logging on.. my password is 12 characters long but the site only allows 10 characters. Thus I need to come up with an alternate pw.
Any help would be appreciated.

the bad thing is if you choose 1 thing and screw up u cant return to configurate again .

Just had to reinstall the Sturmovik 1946 (with HFSX mods) and hyperlobby. Downloaded HL client 4.2.3 but cant connect. It's telling me it can't find the game path. Even when I paste the file path from 'properties' in the '1946 Icon it still can't locate it. I have clicked on IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 in the list of games on the right hand side of the HL box. When I try clicking on "Pacific Fighters" it still doesn't work. I can't see Forgotten Battles in the list. Can anyone help please.

Paste this path here, also include a screenshot after HL finish search your computer, and then screenshot with dialog than telling you than you cannot locate the game (after you hit save).

The reason I attached a wrong screen shot is because I don't have a clue about computers, and frankly, don't know what I'm doing!

OK, I'll try this again,. When I first try and connect I get a message in the chat box that says: "wrong username or password" As far as I know I'm using the CORRRECT username and password so why does it tell my I'm not? Secondly, in the Hyperlobby manual it lists "IL-2 Sturmovik (full version)" but I see no reference to that game in the list!?!. Has the manual not been updated?? Also, there are various reference in posts to "Forgotten Battles". Again, there is no such game room listed on my version of HL client! Pacific Fighters is listed however.

After failing to connect I right click on the connect button and then do a search of the available game paths. 4 tend to appear. I then select each one in turn, save, and then attempt to connect. None of the paths appear to work. When I paste the game path from the 1946 game icon I get the message displayed in my final screen shot.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, thanks. As I am obviously able to log onto the Hyperlobby site I must assume that I used a different password when I created my account.

I've had a look around the site but I can't see anything that would allow me to recover my old account password. I note that I can change my login password however.

I tried to get around the problem by creating a new account but unfortunately the system recognises my email address and won't allow me to create a second account. So, how do I recover my lost password or create a new account?

Forum account and HL account are different. Read the manual how to create new account in HL.
