Any assistance would be appreciated. |

So HL working for you without problems since you managed to start the game. Are you sure you have installed latest game patches and the game itself is allowed to access the internet ? |

If a game cannot connect server there should be some reasons:
1./ Your firewall do not allow connect you game to the internet. You may try temporary disable your firewall to try if its this case and if yes correctly reconfigure game access to the internet
2./ Your ISP or router blocking connect to the game server. You may try use another internet connection to check if it is this cause.
3./ The game server you trying to join do not exists anymore.
There is no other cases and i cannot help you more with this problem.
You may also try game publisher forum there:

I really appreciate your response.
I've done all that I can do as well. I'll get it eventually.
I think it's my router which is a MAC AIREXPRESS. I use that to get connected to the WWW. I'm sure this is why I have the time Out issue.
Time to buy a PC router and use that.
Again thanks. |
